Cheryl Ho

With over 20 years of experience in Human Resources management, I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee engagement, development, and performance. I am currently the Head of HR for Leica Instruments (S), part of Leica Microsystems, a global leader in microscopy and imaging solutions and an Operating Company under Danaher. In my current role, I lead the HR function for the Singapore Plant and R&D, managing a team of HR professionals and supporting about 500 employees across various functions and levels. I am responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the business objectives and values of Leica Microsystems. Some of my key achievements include change management and developing employee retention strategies for site relocation, designing and delivering multiple leadership development and talent management initiatives, driving employee engagement through innovative rewards and retention schemes, and building strong HR business partnering relationships with internal stakeholders, such as senior management, and externally with unions, and vendors. I leverage my skills in relationship building, team leadership, and stakeholder management to enable collaboration, communication, and trust among all parties.
