You don't have to choose between earning a living and serving others. I help business leaders use their gifts and their influence to create generational change in the workplace. I show CEOs how to go from not knowing their purpose to becoming a thought leader and keynote speaker, helping others learn how to make a difference in their workplace. I am the Founder of Cornbread Hustle, a boutique staffing firm that specializes in helping companies make a difference in the lives of their workforce and beyond. I am passionate about helping people coming out of prison and people in recovery find transformation through employment or entrepreneurship. As someone who has reinvented my life, I wanted to create a company to help others do the same. It is a continuous journey and I know that I have never "arrived". We are all here just walking each other home. I am proud to say we have placed more than 3,000 people with criminal records in jobs. Before starting Cornbread Hustle, I found my first journey of transformation and recovery through inventing a tanning bed and starting a career in the TV news business. I eventually developed expert-level skills for marketing and PR. I continued to hone my marketing skills as a PR consultant for Mark Cuban companies. I provided strategy plans and media opportunities for a variety of the Shark Tank companies he invested in. Today, I use those talents to help leaders change the world, one company at a time. My latest projects include investing in social enterprises that help people with criminal records. (such as Junk Hustlers) and creating ongoing content for learning tablets inside prisons nationwide. I invented the first-ever tanning bed you can inflate, deflate, and take with you. It uses natural sunlight vs. artificial sunlight to enhance tanning. It can be used on land, or water. I received my first patent on this idea in 2013.
