Deca was a business management internship program where the students were able to run a store all year long of our senior year I also ran 4 state secretary for deca. I was able to learn a lot and I was secretary of our class. This meant that it was my duty to know everything that was going on and make sure that everything was written and tracked. People with a purpose volunteer group was a volunteer program where we would go to shelters and raise funds for other non-profit organizations. I started volunteering when I was a sophomore. We raised a lot of clothes for kids. Are food drives were phenomenal. The experience going to homeless shelters from Dorothy Day and Ramsey County Shelter, amongst others, really taught me a lot and gave me compassion.
