Chenyuan Diao

Chenyuan is responsible for regional Asia Pacific offshore wind reports and databases in Wood Mackenzie’s industry leading research products. She focuses on impactful data analysis for market intelligence, strategy planning and analysis, and forecasts in the wind power sector in Asia Pacific.

Volunteered 4th IEEE Innovative Smart Grid Technologies 2013 Europe Conference held in Copenhagen, October 6-9, 2013. Participated in different parts of the Conference. Helped guests check-in at the reception, assisted during presentations,handed out free gifts and books etc. Got the opportunity to acquire information and trends in smart grid, communicated and socialized with elites in the field. Enhanced ability in communication and team-work.

Six weeks internship for AIESEC Global Community Development Program in Local Committee of AIESEC Cairo University in Egypt. Worked in project 'Explore Egypt' which gained more cultural experiences and boosted my team work experiences and presentation skills. At the same time, I promoted Chinese and Danish cultures as a bridge between Egypt and the world.

Volunteer at CPH PIX Copenhagen Film Festival 2013 (April.11-24) Based on the affection for movies and willingness to help. Hand out flyers for promotion. Hand out and collect ballots for movie in competition. Hand out coffee and snacks in open air free movie. Got free tickets for movies and opportunity to meet famous directors. Enhanced my social skills and team work spirit.

Two weeks at Production Workshop and two weeks at Purchase Department. Get a preliminary idea about the process of printer module production. Get familiar with GPM system of purchasing and helped with email contacts with overseas factories. Got to know the interaction within a foreign company. Improved the ability of solving new problems.

Choose DTU as the study track of ISEE(Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering) from the second semester (2013 Feb.) with courses regarding wind power generation. It's not only based on my interests in wind energy but also the good reputation and advanced development of wind energy in DTU. In addition, I'd like to experience different education and cultures in Denmark.

Enrolled in Nordic Program ISEE (Innovative Sustainable Energy Engineering). Studied at KTH for the first semester (2012 Sep.- 2012 Dec.)

- Graduated with honors that 70% of 20 compulsory courses have grades A and B.(5 levels of passed course: A- Excellent, B- Very good, C- Good, D- Satisfactory, E- Sufficient) - Extra 15 ECTS by free will in courses Industrial accounting & control and Energy System - Simulation and Optimization
