Responsible for direct material and indirect material’s procurement activities for product Hearing Aids. Conduct quarterly price negotiation in order to achieve target. Prepare weekly inventory turn. Manages and control excess and obsolete material. Analyze and secure price quotations from suppliers. Minimize the on hand inventory and the freight cost. Support account payable in resolving invoice discrepancies.

Responsible for purchase order to approved suppliers as per support requirement. Manage and coordinate all procurement activities associated with new products. Manages and control excess and obsolete material. Order and schedule material requirements with supplier based on MRP to ensure smooth production flow and zero down-time to production. Maintain close liase with suppliers on their production capacities, readiness and material supply. Monitor supplier delivery performance. Analyze and secure price quotations from suppliers. Locate and develop sources of supply through various levels of contact with suppliers and potential suppliers. Minimize the on hand inventory and the freight cost. Handling on price discrepancy

Analyze, maintain and execute Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) Continuously monitor and verify materials pipeline to ensure it meets the MRP requirements. Schedules and expedites the procurement of assigned parts and materials in accordance with the master production plan management objectives and the support requirements of field services and other division. Monitor and continuously improve supplier’s delivery and quality performance Address and resolve recurring critical issues by utilizing corrective action tools Interfaces with various functional areas such as production, engineering, production control, Manufacturing specifications, Cost Accounting to resolve logistics issues. Ensure materials availability to support production on time Expediates materials from stockroom to production floor Reduces and eliminates internal material related downtime Coordination of materials movement from receiving to production Maintain integrity of master data and purchasing planning parameters in order to minimize material liability and to balance the cost of procurement with inventory investment levels Disposition non-conforming,obsolete and high stock materials in a timely manner Develop supply base and supply chain strategies between supplier and customer As a team members to ensure the responsibilities for understanding Business Practices with the supply base Recommending and implementing improvement in the business practices between Jabil Circuit and its supply base Optimize order management process to ensure effective communication with suppliers Issue Purchase orders to pricing, terms and conditions that are negotiated and agreed to by Jabil Circuit. Ensure suppliers adherence to established agreements. Support account payable in resolving invoice discrepancies.

Ensure inventory management and control to meet the company’s set goals. Ensure close working rapport with program management and production planners to maximize production capacity. Coordinate with related departments and suppliers on material reject issues. Keep good contact with supplier and work closely with supplier for on-time delivery. To maintain accurate materials reports in MRP system.
