As Deputy General Manager of Dubai Investment Company, my daily role involves overseeing business development activities for SEC in all MENA region for conventional and renewable power generation projects. In the meantime, I will also remain my role as deputy general manager at SEC Egypt Branch whereas I will be participating and mainly responsible for the commercial side of execution for Hamrawein 6600MW USC Clean Coal Fired Power Plant.

As Deputy General Manager of SEC Egypt Branch Office, I would still resume the responsibilities of my previous role as Egypt Chief Representative whereas I will be handling all governmental, client and partner side relationship management as well as taking on new role in the project management team for Hamrawein 6600MW USC Clean Coal Power Project whereas I will be mainly responsible for all commercial items including but not limited to taxation, contract management, etc.

As regional sales manager, my main role is to oversee business development for SEC in North Africa region. My job role includes developing mature markets like Egypt and extending our company activities there beyond the development of Hamrawein 6600MW USC Clean Coal Fired Power Project into renewable projects like our participation for Waste to Energy project development as well as several solar PV opportunities. In the meantime, I am responsible for opening up new markets like Morocco, Sudan and Tunisa whereas I have built and set up the connection with local governmental authorities, cllients, developers as well as subcontractors. In the meantime, I also cover for all tendering jobs for the above mentioned region and serve as tendering manager.

As Egypt Chief Representative, my main role is for business development of SEC in Egypt as well as the development of Hamrawein 6600MW USC Clean Coal Fired Power Project. Since 2015 until 2018, I have been responsible for the project and has successfully lead SEC team to win the project against world leading competitors GE/Alstom/Harbin and MHPS/OCI/ESE consortium. The signing of the commercial contract for the 4.4 billion deal in Septebmer 2018 is a good summary of my effort as Egypt Chief Representative. In the meantime, I have developed our companies network in Egypt whereas SEC starts from a new comer to Egypt in 2014 to a well-knwon name in Egypt up to 2018.

Day to day international EPC bid proposal preparation whereas I have participated in over 10 bids over the period.

Market info analysis and report writing for economic issues in MENA region. This internship has enhanced my skill in data mining, my analytic skills whereas I were required to hand in at least 3 articles about the economic issues happening in MENA region and also my English and Arabic translation skills.

Responsible for team Israel agenda for almost one full month during the competition whereas I tend to day to day need of the delegation. The job is very demanding whereas i have to liaise with different entities between the Israeli delegation as well as the Chinese committee. In the meantime, during the time of my service, i have to communicate fluently in English as well as Arabic.
