* Assisted in implementation and facilitation of Cancer Awareness Resource and Education (CARE) program for Chinese speaking cancer patients and their family. * Assisted in implementation of Stop Smoking classes. * Assisted in facilitation of cancer support groups. * Transcribed and reviewed transcriptions for a UCLA Breast Cancer Survivors and Social Support research study. * Enrolled patients/applicants to CPHC’s programs. * Updated and managed CPHC’s patient database using MS Excel. * Performed program outreach through community events, mailing, and phone calls. * Actively participated in committee meetings with local community organizations.

* Role: New Patient Ambassador at Herald Christian Health Center (FQHC) * Assisted patient’s registration process which includes health assessment, screen patient’s insurance eligibility, PHQ9 screening, and enter the patient information into eCW before the treatment by a physician. * Enrolled eligible patients into the Medi-Cal Every Woman Counts program. * Provided all necessary assistance/information to ensure patients has access and can utilize our services. * Provided one-to-one education regarding available government and privately-sponsored health insurance programs to potentially eligible patients.

* Assisted victims of crime in navigating the criminal justice system. * Conducted crisis counseling and intakes with victims of crimes including assistance in filing for the California Victim Compensation Program. * Provided case management through outreach, follow-up, and referrals. * Accompanied victims to court proceedings.
