Kavit Shah
Restaurant Consultant
About
I have spent more than 18 years in hospitality, working across 11 Michelin starred restaurants and several featured on the World’s 50 Best list. That background shaped how I think about food, systems, and execution, but my work today goes beyond the kitchen. I work with founders and investors at the earliest stages of hospitality projects, helping turn strong ideas into operating businesses that actually work in the real world. Having worked in both Michelin level kitchens and high volume restaurant groups, I bring a disciplined, execution first approach to concept development, brand building, and launch. I am often brought in when ambition is high and founders look for direction during start up phase. My role is to bring clarity, structure, and momentum through opening and early growth. This includes concept and menu creation, operational systems, team development, financial overviews, and guest experience design. I work hands on and collaboratively, focused on building concepts that are repeatable, resilient, and scalable, without losing the creativity and soul that make them culturally relevant and competitive.

CK Hospitality Management

Specialising in helping founders of hospitality concepts move from early idea to fully operational, successful venues. My work spans concept development, market positioning, brand and interior direction in collaboration with architects and designers, menu and product development, financial modelling, team building, and the design of day to day operational systems. Over the years, I have contributed to the shaping and launch of restaurants across Europe and beyond, including Camino, Sunset Noodle, Donna, Superbon, Ambra, Sentient Dining Club, and Pure Greens Club. Each project involved hands on work during the formative stages, with a focus on guest experience, operational clarity, and commercial performance. More recently, my work has expanded into Asia, advising on new dining, wellness and lifestyle projects in Bali, with an emphasis on sustainable, experience led models that respect local culture while meeting international expectations. I take a practical, execution focused approach and work closely with founders, investors, and operators, supporting projects through launch and early operations, and stepping back once teams and systems are confidently in place.
