I am Willy Huang, having 6 years working experience in consumer hardware industry and 2 years overseas study in USA. Currently, I am Project manager in VanMoof at Taipei. I was Project Manager lead & Account Manager in PCBA testing vendor in China. In VanMoof, I am the only both NPI and sustaining PM. At NPI, I will need to design module with ID & Engineering team. Also, I will need to drive vendor at scheduling, budget, Quality requirement. At sustaining, I will need to monitor control run and issue ECO internally and externally. Also, I am supporting to build up PLM system. In Trantest, I was PM lead and also Account Manager. Trantest is a PCBA testing fixture company in China. It provides customize testing fixture for SMT & FATP lines. Testing function includes in-circle test, functional test, RF OTA. Due to customizing, Trantest engages the project from design till bring up. I will need to work with different kind of company such as Apple, Facebook, Google at design and bring up with CM such as Foxconn, Pegatron, GTK, ICT, USI, Quanta and so on. As PM, I will need to schedule and follow up the product from design, purchase material, manufacturing, bring up. Due to customizing the fixture, I will need to learn spec requirements from customers and design products with the engineer team. After locked down testing requirement with the customer, I will need to work with EE, ME, SW to provide a proposal as DFM for reviewed. As Account Manager, Cost analysis and quotation will be provided after BOM locked. I need to build relationship and learn fast with engineering team, negotiate purchasing team and visit sourcer team to gain more business opportunity. In 2021, I build up a PM team with 6 members. In Pegatron, I schedule the plan and design a new repair line for Apple smartphones. Externally, I need to serve Apple OPM, EPM, PQM and TE. Internally, I need to Co-work with the engineering team (IE, ME, TE, QE), production team, logistic team, China HQ to track 3M will be on schedule and evaluate the influence scope. Also, improving the yield and achieving TAT in achievable quality requirements are my main task during NPI build. In sustaining, I need to simulate the process flow, improve yield by data analysis and reduce FPPR. I feel great to grow with plans and do the right thing right. When I first joined Pegatron, I was an industrial engineer. After a year, I was promoted as operation project manager. By having an IE background, I am more sensitive at resource allocating such as QPL, space layout, head count to eliminate extra cost.
