Contributed to a production-level feature for Copilot Academy, the default academy in Viva Learning, by implementing group-based access control. Worked across both client and service layers: – Frontend: React.js with TypeScript – Backend: C# (.NET), GraphQL Enabled support for targeted academy access, allowing only users from specific admin-assigned groups to view and interact with the Copilot Academy, improving access security and customization. Previously, notifications were sent to "Everyone" or "Copilot licensed users". I introduced a new flow to fetch only users within the permitted groups, ensuring alignment with permission settings. This change also reduced unnecessary resource usage by avoiding broad user scans and focusing only on relevant group members. Collaborated closely with engineers and product teams to ensure seamless integration and high reliability of the feature.
