I’m an HR professional with 6+ years of experience building and scaling people functions at two of India’s most prominent names in music and entertainment — JioSaavn and Universal Music India.My career has been defined less by routine HR operations and more by building things that didn’t exist before. At JioSaavn, I built the L&D function from scratch — from conducting organisation-wide learning needs analysis to hunting vendors, executing programs, and achieving a 100% NPS. I led the end-to-end implementation of Darwinbox as the company’s HRMS, right from vendor evaluation and commercial negotiation to full migration. I also conducted a role mapping exercise for the design function whose findings directly informed a major global restructuring decision.At Universal Music India, I manage the full HR function across multiple business entities — owning everything from hiring and onboarding to payroll, compliance, audit, and engagement for a ~100-person organisation.What drives me is being close to decisions that matter — partnering with business leaders, solving org problems, and building people practices that actually move the needle.
