Responsibilities: Worked in the Cheshire to Lancashire area team of Natural England, working with both Natural England and external partners. Responsible for collating and processing data for projects involving a number of partners using GIS. Outcomes: Prepared raster datasets to be used in the ecological network modelling of Greater Manchester wetlands, becoming practised with the software Condatis and liaising with academics from the University of Liverpool. A second project involved aiding the launch of a remote sensing project, including assisting on a field trip to assess sand dune health on the Sefton coastline.

Responsibilities: Worked as part of the Asset Management Team. The focus of the role was to update the land and property disposals GIS using information found in a database. Outcomes: Developed my GIS skills in a professional environment. Oversaw the complete transfer of separate town records into one county wide database.
