Responsible for maintaining a positive reputation and driving footfall for The Trafford Centre via a strong and fluid PR strategy. Responsibilities include creating strong PR-led activations, managing crises and issues, facilitating on-site media visits, copywriting, influencer outreach and maintaining media relations.

Working across both national and regional campaigns for a range of retail clients including Pets at Home, Maplin, Hobbycraft, Greggs and ASDA.

Managing six consumer clients and working across a total of ten in the outdoor and lifestyle sectors. In addition, I managed individual projects and new business opportunities. I was promoted from Account Executive to Account Manager in August 2012.

A graduate position with a local company who sell and market a therapeutic rehabilitative sports tape called Kinesio Tape. My task was to build the profile and public image of the company. Duties included: writing press releases, mail shots and information sheets, meeting clients and researching, organising and managing potential promotional events or opportunities. I wrote the copy for the new website, and used basic HTML skills. I created and ran social media accounts, and created a monthly e-newsletter.

I undertook an unpaid work placement at the popular new writing ‘Live Theatre’, gaining experience in several departments and learning basic principles of running a creative business. I worked with the marketing team, assisting in creating an evaluation pack of a recent show, and learnt about how marketing within the arts sector works.
