I currently oversee the ultrasound and radiologic technology training programs at the college. We train students to be skilled in the technical aspects of medical imaging as well as to provide compassionate care to sick and injured patients. I feel that my role as an educator allows me to make a greater impact on the quality of care patients receive and am very proud of our graduates who go out to serve the greater good as healthcare providers.

Manages the healthcare educational process through planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and re-design of curriculum. Travels to multiple hospitals, collaborating with clinical managers/directors to negotiate affiliations and deliver relevant training. Helms an Instructional EMR committee in its goal of implementing/designing an interdisciplinary EMR simulation program. Leads process improvement initiatives to ensure attestation, compliance and program quality. Emphasizes student roles and responsibilities in relation to hospital workflow and continuum of care. Supervises students throughout the educational process, addressing performance issues and providing conflict mitigation. Serves on multiple advising and planning committees, including the design of the new RRCC health sciences campus.
