Charlie P-T

Born and raised in Hampshire on the south coast of England, I grew up on bikes, racing & riding with mates, digging and having the best time. Spent my high school work experience at a local bike shop (Action Bikes in Fareham, Hampshire) and loved being submerged in the culture of it all, learning how a good shop works. I was really fortunate to discover that I could live abroad and travel the world to work in my early 20’s!I formed some unforgettable memories working in the alps in the tourism industry, meeting all sorts of inspiring people along the way. Travelled the world - Asia, Aus/NZ, South America , all over really, making the most of work visas available to me, then headed to British Columbia in Jan 2012 in the search of powder turns and big mountains. I’ve rarely left since then!BC is my home now, from time living in the mountain towns of the East and West Kootenays (mainly Fernie, Kimberley and Nelson), Vancouver Island, and the Sea to Sky (Whistler and Squamish).Now in my 40’s I have held management positions in Sales, Customer Service and Relations, in various markets, and in a variety of incredible locations around the world. I’m lucky to still be riding all varieties of bikes and boards as always, and currently working with the passionate team at OneUp Components in Squamish BC.
