Responsibilities • A plan, schedules, coordinates and monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Responsible for the execution of the weekly Build Plan, excess inventory reduction.   • Analyzes MRP output reports and adjusts builds as needed • Forecast and communications to customers, provides input to outsourcing. Coordinates demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure. • Present sourcing, cost, lead time reduction, analyze BOM cost to identify cost reduction. Manage all material plan changes ( Sourcing strategy and material planners ) • Supports Development, Engineering, and Document Control to develop and structure preliminary bills of material (BOM's) • Monitors and adjusts the production schedule as required to meet changing customer requirement • Inventory Balance, Inventory turns forecast report • Work closely with Purchasing to minimize material shortages • Assist in meeting all production and revenue goals for company.

Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. The Materials Coordinator is responsible for supporting the materials planning and inventory needs for the Manufacturing / Operations group by issuing materials supporting build plans, scheduling and prioritizing production components, requests, supply delivery information and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position is further responsible for keeping Materials Management advised and updated on materials and inventory issues. Responsibilities Maintain inventory controls procedures for area Kit materials for work orders and internal requests Participate in weekly cycle counting and physical inventory activities Post inventory transactions and movement of inventory Manage material returns to suppliers and MRB activities Part number and bill of material maintenance Assist in coordinating customer shipments between Sales Operations and Manufacturing activity Support shipping and receiving activities during peak periods
