During my time of self employment, I worked on various projects which included: Freelance Contract work for a high end residential Architect in Cape Town, South Africa. June 2017 to Jan 2019. Projects and involvement included: Luxury holiday home in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. - Construction documentation and detailing. Luxury Private Residence, Bishops Court, Cape Town, South Africa. - Construction detailing and site inspections. High End Double dwelling on the Atlantic Sea Board, Cape Town, South Africa. - Concept design through to council submission. Luxury Retreat, Karoo, South Africa - Concept development through to working drawings and construction detailing. Luxury Private Residence, Bishops Court, Cape Town, South Africa. - Council drawings, working drawings, site positioning and 3D modelling of earthworks. Various mixed use apartment blocks in collaboration with StudiOHS Architects at concept and feasibility stages in and around Cape Town, South Africa. 2017 Residential Alterations and Renovations on a Heritage site, Woodstock Cape Town. (Completed 2016) - This development involves three separate buildings all of heritage value, which are were renovated, restored and brought back to life with a new energy to be enjoyed for years to come. Penthouse Apartment, Beach Road, Sea Point. - Extensions to a private penthouse apartment including additional living space and a large summer rooftop terrace. Design concept through to council approval. High Rise Mixed use development in Cape Town CBD. - A quick concept design for an exciting potential project undertaken as part of a feasibility study for a client. Art Studio, Dunkley Square, Cape Town. - A minor renovation on an old gem, consolidating two spaces into one large blank canvas. Other work. - Various freelance work for architectural firms requiring assistance with fast track council submissions and other tasks.

As an experiment and something I needed to get out of my system, while on maternity leave I started Consciousmama - a brand for the socially & environmentally aware consumer looking for unique personalised products for babies & mums. I hand made tactile activity mats and ropes for babies from up-cycled clothes and fabric offcuts.

Virgin Active Health Club, Ballito, KZN, SA. • Project Architect Various Virgin Active Health Clubs Nation Wide • worked on various projects from design conception through to detailed working drawings and site inspections. Green Agenda • Put in charge of the "green" portfolio for the office, which involved research into products and materials as well as developing a green rating tool for gyms (still in developing stages).

Flood risk prototype housing competition, UK. • Brain storming, Concept design, sustainable systems research and implementation and presentation documentation Green Issues • Active member of the in house “Green Group” and research on environmentally sustainable systems for various projects, as well as research project on solar thermal systems.
