About
I fundamentally love to take theory and apply it. I'm very much hands-on. I've worked in manufacturing handling orders, supply chain, logistics, invoicing, and debt collection. From there I moved into software development (Unix/Linux back end, shell scripts, vi, data mapping, file transfer, Oracle). I wanted to get into more science & engineering, so I switched tracks and pursued advanced degrees in physics and chemistry, and that's where I first got started with 3D printing and materials science. I built a custom 3D printer using a CNC machine with a syringe for printing viscous liquid materials. Because I really wanted to take my knowledge and apply it to the real world, I started Structur3D Printing to bring viscous liquid materials printing to a wider audience on a standardized platform.

* Responsible for entire company network and related issues. * Managed $100K annual technology budget. * Trained other employers on technology systems. * Project management of technology systems. * Responsible for company implementation of EDI processes, terminology, ANSI Standards and Transaction Sets, and barcodes. * Coordinated EDI system migration. Continued to resolve customer and system-related issues involving EDI. * Supervised Y2K project through completion. * Installed new Unix system (enterprise and EDI) for sister company, Smith Abrasives, based on Jokari's system. * Assisted Smith Abrasives with Y2K testing with EDI Trading Partners. * Purchasing wholesale products from production factories.

structur3d printing
We are a 3D printing company making technology to print soft materials. Our first product is the Discov3ry extruder, which was successfully launched on Kickstarter in June/July 2014. We sold over 400 units, becoming the solid leader in 3D paste printing. The company graduated from Communitech's HYPERDRIVE accelerator program as part of cohort #4 in 2014, and successfully graduated as part of the first cohort of HAX Boost in 2015. Our Discov3ry extruder is used worldwide in over 50 universities and research organizations to further materials research and prototyping. www.structur3d.io Invited Talks: "The Untapped Opportunities for 3D Printing with Soft Materials" -- RAPID Toronto, September 2015 "How to Build and Grow a Hardware Startup" -- ACTION Conference 2015 (Hamilton, Ontario, November 2015) "5 Important Items to Do in Your Company’s First Year" -- ACTION Conference 2016 (Hamilton, Ontario, November 2016) 3D Printing Panelist, TiECon2016 (Ottawa, ON, November 2016)
