Provide operational and strategic leadership to all BH providers and ancillary staff assigned to the multi-disciplinary clinic. Plan and operate the daily clinical operations of a multi-disciplinary clinic to include three outlying clinics. Initiate policies and procedures in accordance with the behavioral health service line. Establish procedures and processes for standardization of care as well as partnership of care within the local BH community. Provide inpatient and Emergency Department BH consultations.

Assess, Diagnose, and Treat various psychiatric illnesses via therapy and psychotropic medication. Provide operational and strategic leadership to all BH providers within the inpatient and outpatient wards and clinics. Mentor MD and PA residents through their BH rotations. Provide consultation services to PCMs across the FT. Benning catchment area for BH prescriptive and assessment needs. Provide on-call coverage for the inpatient psychiatric ward as well as admitting privileges for the hospital. Coordinate the implementation of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner residency program between the hospital and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.

Responsible for all nursing assets in primary care assigned to 13 Warrior Care clinics in three states. Manage all Nurse Case Management activities across the catchment area to include follow on care, absent sick, and all admits and discharges associated with Martin Army Community Hospital. Establishing policies and protocols for all nursing personnel, reconfiguring the DWC footprint, to include the hiring and strategic maneuvering of key personnel to various clinics being reconditioned and closed as a result of BRAC activities. Responsible for the training, evaluation, and payment activities of all nursing personnel assigned to DWC. Provide oversight and leadership service to varying hospital committees such as Provision of Care, Process Improvement, Nursing Executive Committee, etc. Also accountable for all HEDIS and ORYX Measures regarding departmental projects, bench marks, and MEDCOM directives. Responsible for overseeing the Joint Commissions compliance of all activities of Warrior Care.

Performed various functions associated with Charge Nurse duties, assigning staff responsibilities, managing patient census flow, and overall responsibility of daily operations.

The program centers around courses involving statutory and regulatory texts, agency guidance, enforcement actions, settlement agreements, judicial decisions, and expert commentary. The course content is derived from issues such as Stark Law and Compliance, Compliance Issues for Healthcare Providers, and Clinical Research and the Law. The program is designed to enhance one's knowledge of legal, regulatory, and ethical issues related to the delivery of healthcare.
