I sold Internet advertising programs to Luxury Car Dealerships throughout the United States. The site www.dupontregistry.com was in its infancy and at the time (I started just before 9/11) we were experiencing an economic slowdown so sales were not progressing as fast as our President, Kit Jeerapaet, expected. So he took a chance and hired me. I sold him by telling him I was the perfect candidate because I was the least perfect candidate and I’d succeed by doing just what he told me to do. Kit has remarked since that I did in fact succeed because I kept my word. I grew my sales to nearly $500,000/year in two years with an average package rate of $895/month. I also negotiated a large deal with AutoNation Corporate, and started and maintained our online Driving School Directory. One of the many blessings in my life was working for Kit, because he freely shared what he knew about selling, and I have never known anyone with more technical sales skills or knowledge.
