At Ten, The Entrepreneurs Network I was able to deep dive into research tasks and connect with leaders of the think tank. My primary task over the course of my work experience was to deep dive into startup culture within the UK. What challenges face entrepreneurs and what makes the UK more or less attractive to enterprising people. Not only did I get a chance to research real insight into an industry that sparks real curiosity for me. I also was given a chance to work on my research and writing skills with feedback and pointers from some of the best in the world of entrepreneur focused think tanks.

During my work experiance at WA Communications, I gained hands-on experience in strategic communications, public policy, and stakeholder engagement. Working alongside the highly skilled Strategic Communications team, I supported research and analysis on complex issues across both public and private sectors. This experience deepened my understanding of how organisations navigate policy challenges, manage reputational risks, and pursue long-term strategic goals.

At my time at the pre-seed startup WeHives I helped realise the idea/ trend where younger generations value mobility and freedom over owning their primary residence. I helped to develop the Idea (WeHives) that empowers the individual to invest in real estate through fractional ownership, offering financial growth and liquidity while maintaining the flexibility they desire. This aligns with emerging cultural shifts towards asset sharing and decentralized investments. At WeHives I managed to get hands on practical experience with all parts of a startup, from working with founders to legal research.

I was given the opportunity to work in the Rigby Group plc Private Equity arm for part of '24 summer, gaining knowledge on analytical skills and how to work within a fast paced firm.
