I am a firm believer everyone needs to do some sort of planning for when they might become incapacitated and when they die. I have spent the last 25+ years fighting on behalf of my clients in the courts of Arkansas. I have seen the horrors of no estate planning, out of date planning and bad estate planning. 90% of these horrors were caused by procrastination which I believe is the root of most problems in estate planning. I am confident my firm is not your traditional estate planning law firm. We have processes and procedures in place to combat procrastination, and to help our clients focus on their needs and wants to help their families. We have processes and procedures in place to ensure things that should be in a plan are in fact part of the plan. Additionally, we have processes and procedures in place to ensure follow through by the firm or the client to make sure plans will work. And finally, we have procedures in place to ensure your plan will be reviewed on a regular basis, that we will keep you informed and educated about things that might affect your plan. The focus at my office is on helping people and their families with what I believe are the two most important things: death and when folks are unable to make decisions on their own. No one wants to plan for these two events, and in most cases, the planning is for your loved ones. The planning is to help them in their time of need whether they need to take care of paying your bills or making health care decisions for you because you cannot or whether it's carrying out your wishes once you are no longer with them. Our mission or our why if you will - is to help our clients show their love for their loved ones by assisting them to properly plan for their possible incapacity and their inevitable demise. To do that, we have created a firm to assist our clients by being their Personal Family Lawyer.
