Manage timely development of Electrical and Electronics components for both buses and trucks. Manages implementation of Engineering changes in Series and Proto Vehicles. Engage with CFT's to ensure timely launch of various trucks and Bus models. Dual sourcing or developing alternate source of parts to avail cost and inventory advantage. Conduct PPAP and audits at Vendor end. Conduct technical review with suppliers for supplier finalization during APQP kick-off Generate potential ideas for VA/VE activity by engaging with supplier team and internal stake holders under various cost reduction workshops.

o Responsible for sourcing supplies, forecasting inventory requirement, assessing risk and daily operation of sheet metal and electrical components. o Maintain strong vendor relationships, achieved cost savings and negotiated contracts for Wiring harness and sheet metal brackets. o Root cause analysis o Cost optimization of components by localizing/sourcing o Production planning and schedule adherence as per forecast (SAP D2S) o Improved production process & strengthened Q-check points by adding fire walls at critical stages o Analysed S&OP forecast to drive material ordering accuracy to 90~95% and thus optimizing inventory levels at vendors to support production plan. o Ensuring 100% production targets and zero line stoppage with timely delivery of critical parts o Capacity planning to meet 100% production requirements
