In my role of Director of Project Management, I provided support to the CEO and Executive team of Caprion Biosciences in the timely delivery of their key departmental initiatives and projects through project management support and achievement of their annual objectives. More specifically, my responsibilities included: a) Support to the Executive team during bi-weekly Executive meetings and yearly strategic planning exercises, as well as during integration of new company acquisitions. b) Project management of key operational process improvement initiatives: implementation of different software such as LIMS, planning/scheduling tools and time reporting system, development of company dashboards, laboratory process improvement, development of a CSV (computer system validation) process. Key contact person for various consulting firms. c) Support to project manager to ensure successful project management execution of key operational projects by providing training and guidance in project management and project portfolio management. d) Facility management: project management of facility expansion projects (laboratory and office area in Montreal and in China), space management, day-to-day facility management with facility coordinator. e) Resource management: provided support and guidance to the project manager and the facility coordinator.

Reporting to the CEO, managed Portfolio of scientific programs by ensuring Project Management Support to the different functions of the company (Discovery, Pre-clinical, Clinical, CMC and Operations/Finance departments) as well as to the Executive team. Implemented a Project Management Office (PMO) and provided project management infrastructure (such as methodology, process, tools and systems) and support to program leaders to facilitate program execution. Ensured all program management aspects are given thorough consideration to achieve timely delivery of results.

Acting as a Project Manager to support projects such as production site transfers and process improvement initiatives. Great support for supply planning in phase-in/phase-out strategy.

Responsible for advertisement sales and marketing activities for the radio station. Supported implemention of the operational departments.

Directed international R&D projects for new product introduction from concept to commercialization. Directed a program of applications for Biotherapeutics. Managed service contracts for universities, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and ensured successful technology transfers. Led R&D teams and cross-functional teams for efficient execution of these projects. • Demonstrated outstanding project management abilities acknowledged by a promotion in 2007 from Project Manager to Senior Project Manager. • Significantly contributed to the adoption and promotion of a breakthrough technology by implementing and directing the OnPoint Custom Development Services department. Successfully managed, with a dedicated scientific team, research collaborations with universities and CROs and various contracts for biopharmaceutical/biotechnology companies, resulting in customer satisfaction and increased pull-through revenues. • Introduced new drug discovery products on time and within budget by efficiently managing international cross-functional teams and coordinating project tasks following a process-oriented development framework (PACE) in accordance with the ISO well-defined quality system. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Diriger des projets scientifiques internationaux menant à l’introduction de nouveaux produits (de la phase concept à la phase commercialisation), ainsi que des programmes d’applications pour les biothérapeutiques.
