At Sun Life, I spearhead frontend engineering initiatives across various enterprise projects, working extensively with both Angular 19 and React 18 while integrating robust REST APIs across both ecosystems. For my Angular-based initiatives—most notably a high-profile healthcare directory and financial platform—I architected secure authentication, dynamic dashboards, and a robust booking engine. My work involved leveraging modern features like Signals (linkedSignal, effect), RxJS, and NgRx state management, alongside designing advanced reactive forms and strict client-side form validations for wealth management tools, and building modular UI components with SCSS and Angular Material. For my React-based projects, I engineered scalable UI features and secure form validations utilizing modern hooks, Material UI (MUI), HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap 5. Across both tech stacks, I designed themeable SCSS components, managed application containerization using Docker, and handled cloud deployments to AWS infrastructure. To guarantee platform stability and optimize workflows, I formulated comprehensive testing strategies using Jest and Cypress, while actively leveraging AI-driven development tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot to streamline code refactoring, automate test generation, and significantly accelerate feature delivery times.
