Key to this success is Chad’s belief that caring stewardship of people results in their careful stewardship of company resources while accelerating growth and earnings. In 2021, QTS was acquired by Blackstone in one of the largest take-private transactions in the digital infrastructure sector, a deal exceeding $10 billion. Over the next four years, QTS continued to thrive, scaling into an over $65 billion global enterprise and one of the largest data infrastructure companies in the world. Williams managed one of the largest capital markets success stories in the industry, providing multiple funding pathways to support the rapid growth of QTS—resulting in a 10-fold increase in leased megawatts. Chad is the founder and CEO of Quality Growth Companies (QGC), formerly Quality Group of Companies. Renamed in 2025, QGC is a next-generation business builder and investor focused on launching and scaling ventures at the intersection of infrastructure, innovation, and long-term value creation. Through QGC, Chad champions platforms that balance performance with purpose and are built to endure. Together Chad and Jeannie Williams co-chair The QFoundation, the philanthropic arm of QGC, which invests in veterans, first responders, and community-building initiatives.
