With over 30 years of dedicated experience in the radio industry, Chad Rufer is a highly respected and recognized executive who has climbed the ranks from a weekend board operator to Vice President of Programming for one of the world's most successful radio groups. His journey began during his teenage years at KWDM and KLYF in Des Moines, Iowa, and his consistent success and market expertise have earned him ongoing recognition, including inclusion in RADIO INK's "Best Program Directors in America" since 2019 and recognition as one of "Country Radio's Top Program Directors" since 2023. After working in multiple cities nationwide, Chad has found a home in Sacramento, CA since 2010. In his free time, Chad and his wife, Karen, embrace the Northern California lifestyle, from the running trails to the wine country of Napa. Dedicated to continuous growth, Chad is also an avid traveler, holds a third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon-Do, and has been a licensed pilot for over 30 years.
