Worked directly for Robert Saemisch principal. Assisting on various aspects of projects. The largest of which was the Dana Ranch mixed use center in Mesa, AZ. Created conceptual CAD drawings and 3-D model for presentation with the city and community from initial charrette sketches.

CADD Tech I & CADD Tech II Efficiently produced drawings for a wide range of projects including: office, residential, restaurant, and industrial. The largest of which was National Mallfront in Peoria, AZ, a 76,000 sf manufacturing and office building. This position also included drafting of structural (foundation and framing) plans for those projects for the structural engineer.

Design Architect for Tilted Kilt Franchise Operations (TKFO). Responsible for design and brand enhancements of all new TK locations (TI and new construction) and Client / Project Manager for selected franchise construction documents. DA Responsible for creating and maintaining client design standards and prototypes, designing project layouts and adaptations for all new client/franchise expansion and operations. PM responsible for managing project team producing construction drawings, overseeing QA/QC, permitting, construction administration and site observation.

My position with the facilities group at Jacobs, has allowed me to work on a wide variety of projects including higher education, aviation, and commercial. I was a team member in all aspects of the projects from design conception through construction. The largest portion of the last two years was spent performing construction administration on a 100,000 SF hangar (maintenance and office complex) for Cessna Aviation at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. Most recently our team completed the schematic design of a new hangar facility, similar to that of the Mesa complex. Other notable projects that I also worked on were the College of Business (LEED Certified) and the Laboratory Sciences Building at Northern Arizona University.

This Project Architect opportunity allows me to assist several teams with multiple projects and serve a leading role in mentoring and developing our architectural interns into the future of our profession. This position has allowed me to work on both large and small scale projects, in various stages of planning and development. Master Research Project (Thesis): Sustainable High Rise Architecture. Exploring existing and new high rise buildings and the ability of design to drastically alter their energy consumption. Competed with Prof. Martin Gold in the New York City Lights competition, utilizing both photvoltaic and LEDs to create a sustainable light for the future. Participated in the Hub renovation joint pilot program, a vision of transforming the existing Hub student center into a historic and LEED certified multi-use facility. Stadia, an exploration into the future and 4-D realm of architecture and construction through cutting edge technology and designs (both engineering and architectural) across the United States and around the globe.
