Member of Ariba’s Value Engineering Team, responsible for Canada, New England, and Midwest regions. Responsibilities included: Overall design of Strategic Procurement organizations and processes for clients, regular interaction and consulting on Process, Policy, and Organizational design with C-Level executives of current and prospective clients, strategy development for pre-sales in conjunction with Account Executives, and creation of business case/success plan for clients as part of sales cycle. Partial list of clients assisted: Amtrak, Avaya, Blackstone, Purdue University, Exelis, Moody's, KPMG, Key Bank, Inventiv, OfficeMax, Rite Aid, and Liberty Tire.

Reported to the CPO, responsible for creating and leading a team of 60 contract managers, buyers, and admin staff to negotiate and draft supply contracts enterprise wide for all categories with an annual spend of approximately $4-5B. Responsibilities included: contract development and negotiations for all areas of the enterprise, strategy development for Procurement related technology, leadership of buying and fulfillment function, and risk mitigation.

Reported to the CFO, responsible for strategy and execution of Strategic Procurement and Real Estate functions for financial services company with 1350+ domestic US locations and 150+ UK locations. Responsibilities included: contract development and negotiations for all areas of the company, ownership of all facilities, strategic sourcing of all goods and services, selection and on-going performance management of supply base, store site selections/site terminations, landlord negotiations, build-out and maintenance, expense management policies, and Corporate Strategic Cost Savings initiatives.

Reported to the CPO, responsible for development and management of program management office within Corporate Services for North America. Responsibilities included: strategic sourcing and procurement, contract negotiations, management of corporate facilities, oversight of process improvement managers and initiatives, creation and adherence to budget (xxxMM+), creation and communication of cost allocation methodologies, creation and implementation of key business metrics, presentation of annual division operating review to CEO/COO.

Reported to CPO, responsible for strategic sourcing, contract development and negotiations, supplier management, facility management, development and management of business performance metrics, project management, process improvement, conflict resolution, regular interaction with Corporate Finance on budgetary and cost savings forecasts, development of Spend Management strategy with a focus on cost savings while maintaining/improving internal customer satisfaction.

R&D Engineer for Fuel Systems with a focus on Emissions Reduction technologies. Awarded two patents for fuel system design. (US Patent #’s 6,029,913 and 5,765,755). Creation and management of an internal 3D Printing service bureau for Cummins and affiliates worldwide. Facilitated numerous national training courses and seminars as a key member of Society of Mechanical Engineers Rapid Prototyping section. Advised Senior BU management on appropriate Six Sigma project selection and prioritization, management of complex process improvement projects on a corporate wide basis. Development and facilitation of training courses to promote understanding of Six Sigma methodologies to both members of project teams and other business unit personnel.
