Cezar Degenaru

I have a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering - automotive engineering. Started my career at Akka Romania where i learned a lot about CAD in Catia V5 3D&2D features. Continued at Autoliv Romania where i learned about multiple automotive engineering and design procedures and tools such as prototyping, PPAP procedure, 6 Sigma, DFMEA, GD&T, testing, capabilty analysis (Ppk&Cpk). I got to work on stamped parts and used all the tools available to make good and reliable designs of seatbelt buckles applications. My next job was at an industrial automation company. My task was to design in Autodesk Inventor and integrate Festo pneumatic products, Bosch-Rextroth aluminium profiles and accessories, servo motors, sensors and many self-made designs for CNC machined parts out of aluminium and steel. Being a much smaller company i got the opportunity to get physical work done in the workshop and experience proper mechanics work with sweat on my forehead and grease on my hands. After that i was a designer for a spot welding equipments company. Working with Creo CAD software i was helping the team to deliver high quality and reliable welding guns. For my current job, at first, i used to design fixtures, jigs and tools for production processes and quality tests at Varta Microbattery Romania. Right now i am also designing mechanisms and equipments. By integrating 3D printed parts in my designs i managed to cut costs and delivery time without making compromise of quality or reliability.
