About
Ever feel like your organization wants to get diversity, equity and inclusion right, but keeps running into resistance or uncertainty? Many leaders today are navigating complex cultural and political dynamics, trying to figure out how to move from intention to impact... without losing momentum or direction. I’ve authored two books on diversity, equity and inclusion, including my latest, The Truth About Equity, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping organizations do just that. Whether you’re a nonprofit, university, or global company, one thing is constant: you can't afford to treat equity like a trend. Your people, your customers, and your mission demand more. Here’s what I believe: 1. Equity isn’t a buzzword — it’s a blueprint. You need more than values statements. I teach organizations how to operationalize equity through my “Equity in Action” framework, built around awareness, commitment, courage, accountability, and action. 2. Diversity, equity and inclusion is everyone’s job, not just HRs. Real culture change happens when leaders, managers, and employees all understand their role. I give teams the language and tools to lead inclusively, even in times of tension. 3. This work isn’t about lowering standards. It’s about removing barriers. Equity means creating systems where everyone has equal access to opportunities. Through keynote speaking, executive sessions, and hands-on consulting, I help organizations move forward with clarity. My clients walk away with practical, actionable strategies they can teach, scale, and sustain across teams.
