I have nearly 30 years of experience in broadcast television, live events, project management, and team leadership. I have a strong background in technical coordination, show running, set design, budgeting, sales and marketing. I also have a proven track record of breaking down silos and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to execute a focused and effective content strategy and develop new revenue opportunities. Collaborate with department managers and producers to coordinate all production elements, build newscast rundowns, and communicate with technical and production crews during live newscasts and taped segments. Earned “Employee of the Quarter, July 2013”.

Broadcast Television Director
Lead Ignite Director for fast-paced evening newscasts. Responsibilities include simultaneous directing, video switching, audio mixing, robotic camera operation, and multi-channel graphics and video management on a state-of-the-art HD Ignite automation platform. Instrumental in a major transformation to an HD news operation. Took lead responsibilities as resident Lighting Director for a new studio set and initializing new robotic camera operations. Constructed an HD production control room, programmed switcher effects, created Ignite coding, and restructured iNews rundowns. Lead the design, construction, and lighting of various studio sets.

Broadcast Television Engineer
Lead Technical Director for fast-paced, effects-driven evening newscasts, including the #1 rated Live at 10:00. Duties include simultaneous video switching, on-air graphics and digital media playback. Other assignments include audio engineering, studio robotic cameras, transmissions control and training other engineers. Created the files for switcher, audio, and robotic camera positions used by other engineers. Initiated a new set design committee and created studio set design concepts. Researched and presented proposals to management on new technology purchases. Lead the technical implementation of new electronic graphics equipment, edited new music tracks and reorganized the control room music library as part of a major brand image redesign. Special assignments in electronic field production include See It First Weekend at the new Miller Park, a Sunday Night exclusive interview with Brett Favre and Bart Starr at Lambeau Field, and a Legends of Lambeau live documentary. Earned "Employee of the Month, May 2005".

Broadcast Television Technician
Primary engineering assignments include video switching, audio, robotic cameras, and videotape for all newscasts and local productions. Assisted maintenance in large scale projects. Special assignments include electronic field production and non-linear editing with the Creative Services department for various topical and image campaigns, and camera assignments for Pack Attack at Brett Favre’s Steakhouse.
