It has always been a dream of mine to go into Real Estate as a semi-retirement job. After doing consulting for 27 years, I think the skills I've learned really help me to listen to clients needs and then select the right homes to show them, and use our time effeciently. I am detailed & task oriented, so all the processes, hoops and personalities you deal with in this industry, for me, is so easy. I have a huge personality, that often was my achilles tendon in consulting, with upper mgt, clients and teams members loved and respected me, but I think my outgoing personality was often to much for some Senior Mgt to handle. In Real Estate, I can be myself, people know when they meet me that they are going to either like me instantly, which brings trust and warmth to longer term relationships.
