Intensive Care: • CVICU: Administered medication and assessed patients post coronary artery bypass surgery • ED: Placed three IVs, observed treatment of two gunshot wounds, and numbed head laceration • NST: Neurologically assessed Guillain Barre Syndrome patient and implemented safety protocols • CPCU: Performed CVAD dressing changes and assessments on postoperative cardiac patients

Behavioral Health: • Developed therapeutic relationships with patients and performed assessments

• Taught secondary language and interpersonal skills to adolescents ages 18 to 22 • Coached adolescents individually in language proficiency, soft skills, and coping skills

• Worked one on one with over 150 children ages 1 to 17 • Collaborated with parents to communicate expectations, set goals, and evaluate progress

Women's Health: • L/D: Observed and participated in both vaginal births and emergency Caesarean Sections • NICU: Attended to premature infants and ensured they received recommended nutrients • Postpartum: Independently assessed mother and newborn for stability and particular needs • Nursery: Assess, fed, and treated neonates

Pediatrics: • CICU: Cared for infant with VACTERL association and communicated with family members • IMSU: Assisted patients with RSV, epilepsy, cardiac defects, asthma, and microcytic anemia • ICSU: Aided patients with osteosarcoma, brain tumor, and leukemia with pain management • NICU: Participated in the care of patients with Danny Walker Syndrome and feeding tubes • CMU: Assigned to aide RN in executing plan of care for patients with asthma and birth defects

Medical/Surgical: • ED: Observed the care of a trauma patient with a severed thumb and injured hand • ICU: Learned appropriate interventions for liver failure, atrial fibrillation, and overdose patients • OR: Witness surgical treatment of endometriosis and proper maintenance of sterility • Med/Surg: Contributed to treatment of patient with heart failure and diabetic ketoacidosis • ORTHO: Worked in interdisciplinary team to control pain and facilitate movement of patients
