About
In May 2025, I graduated from Duke University where I designed my own degree titled “The Psychology of Media”. My studies drew from two departments of great interest — Psychology and Visual Media Studies — and helped me understand how media can influence the way we think, feel, and act. Storytelling has always been at a passion of mine and led me to minor in Journalism. My passionate to create and innovate inspired me to earn a certificate from Duke’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship program. I intentionally chose courses that fueled my curiosity and creativity and ultimately helped me develop on a personal and professional level. Outside the classroom, I continued to follow my passions and gained hands-on experience while working at Santa Barbara Life & Style Magazine, GTA Abroad, and more. Each role taught me something new about myself and allowed me to continue to grow professionally and personally. Ultimately, I found myself interning at goop - a brand I had long admired. I interned on the Strategic Partnerships team and after graduating Duke, I joined the team in a full-time capacity. As I take the next step in my journey, I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and exploring new ways to tell meaningful stories and make an impact.

Social Media Editor
Durham, NC
I have been an intern at Duke Students since the fall of my freshman year working on the Facebook and Instagram team. However, at the end of my Sophomore year, I decided to apply to be an editor. At that time, I desired more responsibility and a more active role. I was given the temporary position of Study Abroad Editor while I was studying abroad in Copenhagen in the fall of my Junior year. Now that I have returned to Duke's campus, I am officially stepping into my role as Social Media Editor overseeing our TikTok account alongside my co-editor, Vic. I am in charge of social strategy, content creation and managing a team of interns.

Digital Media Creator and Brand Ambassador
Rodeo is an innovative digital marketplace for the creator economy. It is a platform for the young, socially-driven shopper. At rodeo, we are building the next generation commerce platform to enable creators to do what they love — share and saves their stlye obsessions and more while monetizing their content (with zero effort so that they can focus on creating awesome, authentic content!) As a creator, I got early access to the platform and was also invited to join a consulting cohort that met weekly to discuss the platform. We shared our own experience and worked together to improve the user experience and help rodeo grow.

Strategic Partnerships, Assistant
NYC
After working as an intern, I was asked back to work part-time as an assistant to the SP team. My work load and responsibility increased as I was able to work with brands more closely and manage my own campaigns. As a result, I experienced growth on a personal and professional level.

GTG Abroad is a resource for students studying abroad. It's website provides tailored recommendations for the must visit cities in Europe complete with the perfect weekend itineraries, recommendations and more. It is for students by students. As Digital Media Director I created content for our social media channels to share my day trips, weekend trips and more. My goal was to inspire and inform our audience. I also worked closely with the company's founders, Hollie and Amy, on our social strategy and branding. My experience with social media and content creation made me a useful resource for all things social media and my personal experience studying abroad made me a useful resource for understanding our audience's needs.
