I am a final-year Critical Care Resident at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, with academic interests in fluid therapy dynamics, endothelial glycocalyx function, and the pathophysiology of sepsis and shock, as well as focused cardiac ultrasound, polytrauma management, and complex electrolyte and acid–base disorders. My work is driven by a commitment to progressive, evidence-based critical care and the translation of physiologic and clinical research into practical, high-level bedside decision-making. I am equally attentive to how care is delivered as to the interventions themselves. I am strongly committed to patient-centred care and Fear Free® principles, with an emphasis on minimizing stress and physiologic burden in critically ill patients. I place high value on clinical teaching, collaborative leadership within multidisciplinary care teams, and clear communication with referring veterinarians to support continuity of care and shared clinical reasoning. My goal is to integrate rigorous, evidence-based critical care with deliberate handling, disciplined clinical judgment, and effective communication to optimize outcomes in critically ill patients.
