Animal massage in the comfort of your own home & at select locations.

Innovative Pet Therapy is massage for animals, created from their perspectives. We receive massages for various reasons (to relieve tension, to engage muscle movement, or simply to pamper ourselves) but often forget that our animal friends actually have the same needs. Every day life such as crate training, exercise & athletic training, boredom, fatigue, traveling, separation anxiety, growing into their adult bodies, & even growing old can lead to fascia sticking. This is when connective tissue sticks to itself, causing muscular dehydration, which leads to a shortening of the muscles due to lactic acid build up. Decreased joint movement follows as a result, & the animal may become agitated or depressed & less likely to cooperate with humans as well as other animals. IPT utilizes four approaches to relieve muscle tension: permission, blocking, gentling, & positional elongation. Through IPT, animals allow themselves to be more relaxed & receptive to being touched all over. (No more danger zones!) Animals become more mobile & active which leads to happier, healthier & even more social comrades! Animals are never restrained or tethered during IPT & nothing is done without their consent (yes, the animal has to give approval too). Owners & handlers are given homework to continue the wellness program custom created based on each individual animal's needs. This will not only aid in relieving their dis-ease, but strengthen your bond with them so everyone can be happier & healthier together! IPT is for every animal, domesticated & wild, alike. Whether they are athletes, trained for show, sport, assistance, or rescue, or simply lovable members of the family, everyone benefits.
