As Editorial Assistant, I wrote up to 7,000 words per week in online articles, articles for print, feature stories, cover stories, and transcriptions of interviews on recent health care updates and business ventures in the O&P and orthopedics industries. I posted articles online using Sitecore and prepared daily newswires using Maestro. Other online duties included keeping a calendar listing for all meetings occurring in the O&P, orthopedic, and spine surgery industries and cropping and resizing photos in Photoshop.

During my time as Staff Reporter, I wrote articles to be posted online daily, feature articles, and cover stories for print. I also attending medical congresses where I reported on the latest scientific updates in cardiology.

During my internship at SLACK Incorporated, I wrote several articles for daily online posts, checked references on studies featured in upcoming articles, and obtained contact information for contributing medical doctors. Once monthly issues were published, I would mail complementary copies to participating physicians. I also assembled a roster of upcoming medical congresses across all specialties.

My main duty as a Fiction Editor for Folded Word Press is to edit selected manuscripts for yearly publication. In the past I have also helped review and select manuscripts for publication, formatted files for future typography work, proofread submission for the PicFic publication, and wrote blog articles on upcoming publications and new authors. Publications I have worked on include 101 Kinds of Irony by Kevin Griffith (2012), Sophronia L. by Tim Bridwell (2014), Tooth Decay by Garrett Socol (2015), Premeditations by Michelle Ristuccia (2015), and Orange Balloon by Samantha Priestly (2016).

I contributed one 350 word book, movie, or album review per week for selected audience.

As a staff writer for Orthopedics Today, I write up to 10,000 words per week covering online posts, print articles, cover stories, and transcriptions of interviews with orthopedic surgeons. While gathering information for my monthly cover stories, I make suggestions for accompanying infographics, sources, and cover photos. I travel 5 times per year to medical congresses where I conduct video interviews and write articles on the latest scientific updates in orthopedics. When needed, I also post articles on Healio.com/Orthopedics. Received an APEX award in 2016 and an ASHPE award in 2018.
