Promoted from construction craft hiring office to Shaw's corporate headquarters to assume responsibility of recruitment and hiring of salaried professionals including engineers, site managers, superintendents, controllers, etc. Coordinated benefits upon hiring of new employees. Presented benefits packages including Health Insurance, Life, AD&D, STD, LTD, 401(k) etc. during acquisitions. Also responsible for seconding of employees to subsidiaries, transfers and relocations of current salaried employees. Maintained all records relevant to EEOC reporting and compliance with AAP goals. May travel to sites when significant incidents occur to meet with supervision, insurer, investigators, etc. Coordinates all General Liability and Auto Liability claims for Shaw E&I. Composes and updates Health & Safety Policies and training programs as required. Provides fiscal loss data to executive management team. Maintains and chairs OSHA recordkeeping decisions. Maintains all injury and illness statistical data for Shaw E&I. Responsible for EH&S information on contractor RFP's and prequalifications. Responsible for all Shaw E&I annual Surveys for Occupational Injuries and Illnesses as required US Department of Labor and Statistics. Manages EH&S training team. Manages medical surveillance team.
