* Lead adult men and women with Intellectual Disabilities in various activities. * Promote independence and empowerment by teaching practical tasks. * Teach and develop interpersonal skills to help with everyday life. * Model a person-centered approach with all members.

* Provided care for 16 year old boy with Acrocallosal Syndrome. * Administered daily medication and was prepared to assist if a seizure were to occur. * Modeled both verbal and non-verbal gestures to communicate with him. * Introducing “Tap to Talk” application to express speech though Augmentative and Assistive Technology (AAC).

* Collaborated with a peer to facilitate a successful therapy plan for a 6 year old child and teenager. * Communicated with client’s parents about child’s progress, and how to assist the child at home with provided materials. * Met with faculty advisor on a weekly basis to discuss the client and completion of therapy goals. * Mastered Subjective, Objective, Analysis Plan (SOAP) documentation by completing forms 2 times a week.

* Supervised 30 kids ages 7-10 years old during outdoor activities including basketball, soccer, and kickball. * Cultivated passion for sports by developing campers’ skills through dividing them into teams. * Mediated interaction between children, especially when challenging behavior became present. * Prioritized activities based on time allocated.

* Able to manage time, and keep track of 20 children at all times. * Developed classroom management skills by using direct language and authoritative tone. * Encouraged safety and healthy active choices by providing games for them to increase their heart rate and physical activity. * Demonstrated the dynamics of teamwork by wording language in a kid friendly manner to the children.

* Administer clinical assessments, initial intake forms, discharge summary, and case management. * Conduct Psycho-educational groups up to 15-20 men and woman. * Provide individual counseling with men and women struggling with alcohol and drug dependence. * Currently completing 900 clinical hours, 350 hours of direct client contact.
