I wrote and redesigned all of the marketing material for the Sales Team at Austech. This included brochures and info packs for a wide range of services run by Austech and their sister company Sound Sleep Solutions.

During my time at Silverspan, I have gained a wide range of experience across many areas of marketing. One of the highlights of my experience at Silverspan has been writing (roughly ten of) the film blurbs for the 2008 Queer Screen Film Festival. It challenged me to find the right tone of voice for the publication and allowed me to use my creative writing skills. It was also a lot of fun! The main body of my workload is taken up by tracking and reporting the results of PR campaigns. This includes collecting and interpreting data, creating graphs and other methods of showcasing the data, and creating presentations and reports of the results for clients. The data can be in the form of press clippings (both online and in print), social media monitoring and other online forms. I also write press releases, assist with event management (including organising and pricing events and setting up guest lists), edit telemarketing scripts, assist with writing copy for direct mail campaigns and assist with database management.

I worked as the behind-the-scenes voice of The Loop, Australia's largest creative community. The Loop is a career network for creative talent. Almost all customer feedback and questions come to me. My role involves responding to users in a friendly, conversational manner on a daily basis. I wrote a set of templates that all staff use as DIY tips for common questions from users. I assisted users in finding solutions to the problems they are experiencing, including troubleshooting, tips, offering guidance, and logging and reporting bugs.

* I am assisting the Star Observer with their marketing material and advertorial content. This includes; * Writing the content and devising the strategy behind the B2B email newsletter * Writing the media kits for each publication * Rewriting advertising copy to fit with the style and tone of the newspaper * Writing advertorial copy * Proof reading * I have recently assisted with the branding and creation of a new publication of luxury goods magazine called Luxe. (Please see above for the final result).

Some of these include * Journalism * Advertorial * Website copy * Blog posts * Branding * Copywriting * Brochures * Competitor research reports * With my broad marketing experience, I am able to assist with any part of the marketing campaign from initial research to final copy. I especially enjoy collaborating with people to get the most out of every idea and campaign. * I have enjoyed working with a variety of people and have assisted several interns to develop their skills along the way.

I attended the University of Lincoln for one semester through a merit-based exchange with the University of Western Sydney. I was awarded a scholarship to fund my trip.
