OncoSignature is a drug discovery biotech company focused on developing and providing personalized medicine solutions for cancer therapeutics. We identify drug-tailored biomarker signatures in patients, enabling proof-of-concept early in clinical trials through patient responder identification.

Our research is focused on understanding molecular mechanisms that control aggressive features in high-risk, treatment-resistant neuroblastoma and the related tumor forms paraganglioma and pheochromocytoma, with the aim of finding new treatment strategies and improve patient prognosis and diagnosis. Using relevant pre-clinical models, we aim to find novel treatment strategies for children with high-risk neuroblastoma. For paraganglioma and pheochromocytoma patients, we hope to identify biomarkers that can be used to prognosticate metastatic disease at time of diagnosis, and also to establish pre-clinical models so that new drugs can be tested for aggressive forms of these tumors.

As a research scientist at Lund University, I'm managing projects dealing with understanding molecular mechanisms that drive aggressive behaviour of the childhood tumor neuroblastoma.

During my postdoc I initiated a project based on recently established tumor-initiating neuroblastoma cells and investigated potential correlation between a differentiated sympathetic neuronal phenotype and increased DNA repair capacity.
