Working on the Gigaclear contract delivering rural broadband to Devon and Somerset. Developing and implementing efficient end to end programmes, including critical path analysis, earned value management techniques and risk mitigation to ensure successful delivery of the projects.

Responsible for setting up and running new Technical Upgrades team. Providing robust process documentation along with reporting mechanisms to show optimisation of the opportunities.

Managing the Network Expansion Centre in Birmingham covering the residential civils and construction desks, and Planning Hot Desk, each team had their own team leader with approx. 12 team members reporting into them. Main responsibilities were improving the operations performance across all the teams by establishing new work processes and stakeholder relationships where required and maintaining working processes already in place.

Main responsibilities were development of business cases for additional fibre capacity within our access network ensuring the optimum upgrade was planned allowing for future growth and seeking financial approval. Ensuring the Risk Register (Commercial and operational) was up to date and present resolutions to Directors for sign off.

Seconded into a role to drive the completion of Planning activities national for Major Programmes with BSkyB and Teal. Production of planning guidelines and low level work instructons for regional planners. Ensuring aggressive targets for complete of works were met nationally.

Responsible for the South West and Wales Planning Team ensuring that operational targets were met for Business, Consumer and diversionary planning. National Planning lead for MBNL project, ensuring that targets for planning and installation were delivered on time and within budget.
