Experienced, passionate International educator and team leader in elementary and secondary schools. I value the opportunity and responsibility to continuously deepen my pedagogical, leadership skills to support and enhance effective, differentiated Teaching & Learning in International contexts. My role is to build capacities in the teams I lead and to help each member grow as an individual and as a professional for the benefit of our students. My passion and quest is to equip our students with the critical thinking skills and the transdisciplinary approach that will help them become agent of positive change in their communities. Working closely with all stakeholders and families is key to establish and develop sustainable school communities. Leading a school means to be actively involved in all areas to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students. Being open to constructive input and feedback has enabled me to keep learning and exploring the world of education to better serve each individual community. Each school member is unique, and as such, must be seen and heard as a valuable member of our community. Watching the growth in our students and colleagues is the most satisfying component of my work. Education is not only about academics, it is about belonging, enabling students to become agents of positive change within their local and international community. The welfare of my students and team members are paramount to me. My involvement in school has grown and deepened over the years through different roles and capacities that I have undertaken with humility and a strong sense of responsibility towards the communities in which I have had the honor to serve. The more I understand, the more there is to learn. Schools evolve and school leaders need to do the same to make sure that schools adequately serve the needs of their communities. With strong teams, there are no insurmountable challenges. It is all about people!

Founding Principal in a country where IB schools are still a new concept for education. Our school has recently been granted IB continuum school and we are preparing for our first cohort of DP students. Have engaged with all stakeholders to progressively build common understanding, including owners and parents . Enhanced professional skills of our teachers with differentiated and ongoing professional development . Started with one campus on 32 students when I first joined the school to two campuses and more than 500 students today . First school to combine local curriculum requirements with IB pedagogy with the two national languages of the country. Teaching teams are getting stronger and empowered to have a stronger impact on our students , as we refine curricula alignment and processes. Am proud to say that our sense of identity is becoming more and more tangible everyday thanks to our dedicated teachers, IB coordinators and leadership team . Excited and humbled by the challenges and responsibilities of leadership which concretely begins to positively shape the identity of all the stakeholders . Learning everyday about learning and teaching , about people and cultures. Life is all about people and my focus is to build healthy relationships within our school community so students and educators can engage, enhance and empower each others in a supportive atmosphere.
