The Head of Latam Finance Shared Services will lead the operational finance teams across Latin America and have responsibility for accounting and financial reporting, invoicing and cash collections, accounts payable, Treasury and Tax compliance in the region. I have responsibility for the following across all entities in the region (Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, Chile, Panama , Uruguay and USA) • That the monthly accounting close is undertake on a timely and accurate basis and that the numbers reported in the accounting system are in accordance with Group accounting policies / IFRS. • A robust financial control environment is in place with key controls operating as necessary, including documented processes, sufficient levels of review with overall strong balance sheet and journal entry control. • Ensure an effective management team is in place and is continually developed to ensure current and future success. • Managing the external audit process across enabling audits • Timely and accurate invoicing and cash collections and accounts payable/expenses invoices payments. • Ensuring a robust and timely cashflow management process in line with group requirements and that strong internal control Treasury processes (bank mandates and control of cash) are in place across the region. • Ensuring tax compliance across the region. • Drive standard process and controls across the regions, ensuring that any acquisitions are integrated on a timely basis • Being the local senior support for the Regional CFO and escalation point for finance operations for the region and the main contact point for Group management.
