Carolina Noya is a board certified family nurse practitioner with a specialty in diabetes management. She has 18 years of primary care experience in community based health centers which included primary and acute care across the lifespan. She has expertise in shared medical appointments implementation and evaluation. She is an associate professor in the school of nursing at the UCSF. Her research is focused on innovative culturally tailored interventions in primary care to reduce health disparities among Latinos living with type 2 diabetes in the U.S. and Mexico.
