• In-situ and ex-situ coral nursery maintenance and stocking at Nature Seychelles’ Assisted Recovery of Corals (ARC) facility and within the Cousin Island Special Reserve. • Assisted with the establishment of the first coral spawning facility in Seychelles and Africa. • Coral reproductive monitoring, including gamete development checks, ex-situ spawning observations, gamete collection, fertilisation, larval rearing, and early coral settlement. • Created content for social media on coral larval dispersal process, and in-situ coral fragment out- planting.

• Gained experience with indoor cold-water aquarium maintenance and performed routine animal husbandry tasks. • Assisted researchers with data processing using BORIS and EthoVision XT to track the behaviour of elasmobranchs exposed to electromagnetic fields (EMF) — simulating those from offshore wind farm cables.

• Roles involve applying for funds, accountability of society’s finances, provisional budgeting, and preparing account summaries and reports. • Assisted in coral tank cleaning in the Changing Ocean Research group laboratory. • Organised conference attendance, and guest talks.

• Primary responsibilities: assisting project leaders with nursery stocking, cleaning, data entry and monthly health monitoring by scoring fragments’ condition and color and measuring size using ImageJ. • Worked with in-situ and ex-situ coral nurseries with 50+ dives. • Tropical fish and coral genus ID trained. • Assisted with weekly beach clean-ups, guest engagement and marine education at MCSS kiosks, and led guided snorkel tours to promote safe snorkeling practices and increase awareness about local reefs.

• Assisted a Ph.D. student with their project on the grazing impacts on intraspecific trait variability of grasses in the Scottish uplands habitat. • Leaf sample processing and data entry on Excel. • Prepared grinded leaf samples in tin capsules for carbon content analysis.
