After nearly a decade of directing early-stage investments since 2013, our continued growth led to a strategic evolution in 2023 — transitioning into a single-family office. As a single-family office, we no longer make direct investments in early-stage startups nor launch new venture capital funds. Instead, we now adopt an endowment-style model focused on strategic asset allocation across funds to ensure diversification and support long-term succession planning. About me: -Turned down a PhD offer from Imperial College London and spent over 20 years in the internet and technology ecosystem as a founder, author and investor. - Founded EnglishStreet (ES), which became a Harvard Business Review business case and was later acquired by Hong Kong Economic Times (0423.HK). -Built a second startup that merged with a Taiwan company and was subsequently acquired by FarEasTone (4904.TW). - Wrote columns for around eight years in magazines and newspapers on SEO, internet marketing and online business models. - Authored several books on brain science and learning techniques that reached best-seller lists in the local market. - Started angel investing in 2013, coinciding with the birth of a second child, backing early-stage internet and mobile startups. - Founded Click Ventures in 2015 and completed more than 40 investments from seed to late stage, focusing on internet and mobile-related business models. - From 2018 to 2021, Click Ventures’ seed funds were repeatedly ranked among the top-performing global funds by Preqin, including recognition as a most consistent top-performing VC fund manager in Greater China. - In 2022, Click Ventures’ impact initiative was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of 17 leading innovative funds globally. - After a year of investing as an LP, Click Ventures evolved into a single family office in 2023, with investments managed jointly by my husband and myself. - By 2025, built a portfolio of around 20 venture funds, ranging from emerging managers with approximately 50 million in fund size to platforms managing over 1 billion in assets under management.

After eight successful years operating as a super angel fund focused on early-stage technology startups, we have now transitioned into a single-family office. As a single-family office, Click Ventures is broadening its mandate beyond early-stage venture into a more diversified, endowment-style portfolio with a primary emphasis on fund allocations. Alongside our Private Markets team, we are also building a dedicated Liquid Strategies team, led by another Principal, to oversee allocations to liquid strategy funds and to manage selective direct investments in public markets.
