I am an active member of the New York Angels where I have the privilege of being part of a diverse group of committed investors who pride themselves in mentoring and supporting entrepreneurs. The New York Angels seek to enhance the opportunities for entrepreneurs to be smartly financed and succeed through exit. In addition to being an active investor and mentor, I have served on the Membership Committee of the New York Angels. Prior to joining the New York Angels, I had 34 years of experience providing audit, accounting and consulting services to leading organizations and their counsel. During my career, I led many highly talented professionals in starting and growing a variety of new consulting businesses. I also led numerous complex and high-profile engagements in response to crisis-driven issues, or matters of public interest requiring objectivity and independence. I arbitrated more than $2 billion in transactional disputes, assisted the Monitor in the largest consumer financial protection settlement in U.S. history, and led the independent examinations of the Gulf Coast Claims Facility and AOL Time Warner.
