As Co-Founder and CEO of Cassavida, I’m on a mission to bring bold, heritage-rich Bolivian flavors to the U.S. snack market. Our debut product, Crunchy Cheese Bites, are known in Bolivia as cuñapés secos—think all the flavor of Brazilian cheese bread in a crunchy, ready-to-eat bite. Staying true to traditional recipes, they’re made with simple, real ingredients like grass-fed cheese, butter, and cassava starch. This snack reflects the natural richness and integrity of Bolivia’s still-undiscovered food culture. Before launching Cassavida, I spent over 20 years as the founder and CEO of Ociquim, a global logistics and trading company that I continue to lead today. Over the years, I’ve built long-term relationships and operations across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America. That experience gave me a deep understanding of complex supply chains, international compliance, and scalable sourcing strategies—expertise I now bring to Cassavida as we grow from a local production model to international distribution. We’re proud to share that starting August 2025, Cassavida will be featured on a major airline in the US, bringing a taste of Bolivia to millions of travelers around the world. We’ve also been selected to participate in the Sprouts Forager program in September, October, and November 2025, a key step in introducing Cassavida to natural shoppers and specialty retail buyers across the U.S.
